Tiger grouped with 'Fresh Prince' partner at World Challenge

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – No first-tee introductions between players will be necessary when the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge kicks off on Thursday.

After three consecutive years of playing with Steve Stricker in the opening round, tournament host Tiger Woods has drawn Presidents Cup partner Matt Kuchar in the 1:25 p.m. ET tee time. (Click here for full tee times)

Two other groups feature twosomes who played together at Muirfield Village two months ago – Hunter Mahan and Bill Haas at 1:03 p.m.; Stricker and Jordan Spieth at 1:14 p.m. – but plenty of others include players well accustomed to each other’s games.

The first pairing of the day is Northern Ireland natives Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell (12:30 p.m.), followed by Englishmen Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter (12:41 p.m.).

In the day’s final pairing are friends and longtime Twitter foils Keegan Bradley and Jason Dufner, who will tee off at 1:58 p.m.

Other groups include Zach Johnson and Jason Day (12:52 p.m.); Dustin Johnson and Bubba Watson (1:36 p.m.); and Webb Simpson and Jim Furyk (1:47 p.m.).
