U.S. uniforms unveiled for Rio Olympics

Adidas has unveiled the uniforms that will be worn by the U.S. Olympic team when golf returns to the Olympics this summer for the first time since 1904.

The looks were displayed at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla., with outfits for both the men's and women's teams with the Rio games now less than seven months away:

The American golf contingent could include up to eight players, with a maximum of four men and four women qualifying if all are within the top 15 of their respective rankings. Adidas is the official uniform provider for the team, meaning that members will be required to wear the uniforms in Brazil regardless of their prior existing partnerships with other brands.

The four men currently in line to qualify for the U.S. are Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson. The three women currently in line to qualify are Stacy Lewis, Lexi Thompson and Cristie Kerr, with Brittany Lincicome and Alison Lee the next highest-ranked Americans currently outside the top-15 bubble.
