DUBLIN, Ohio – When Tiger Woods won his fifth Memorial in 2012 he played Muirfield Village's par 5s in 8 under par. When he won in 2009, he played the par 5s in 11 under par.
For his career at Muirfield Village he’s 117 under par on the par 5s, which only serves to point out how substandard his play has been this week on the par 5s.
For two rounds, Woods is even on the par 5s with just a single birdie, at the seventh on Thursday, largely because of his wayward driving. Woods has hit just two of eight fairways playing the par 5s.
