Thanks to his local ties, Henley has been invited to play in the Chattanooga Classic and the Knoxville Open, both held in his home state of Tennessee.
Henleys first event will be the Henrico County Open in Richmond, Va., beginning May 19. He will then play three consecutive weeks beginning with the Chattanooga Classic June 2.
Henley has also received an invitation to play in the Pepsi Pro-Am in Rhode Island on June 26.
Henley from Crossville, Tenn., defeated Don Donatello in a thrilling 20-hole match to win The Big Break II. Throughout The Golf Channel series, Henley was nearly eliminated in several shows but through sheer grit, determination and a little bit of luck he staved off having to pack his bags.
The victory also earned Henley a 2005 Ford Five Hundred luxury sedan, $10,000 and a financial makeover provided by Nationwide Insurance and Financial Services.
The 44-year-olds list of Nationwide Tour exemptions currently includes:
May 19 - 22 - Henrico County Open
June 2 - 5 - Chattanooga Classic
June 9 - 12 - LaSalle Bank Open
June 16 -19 - Knoxville Open
June 30 - July 3 - Lake Erie Charity Classic
July 7 - 10 - Pete Dye West Virginia Classic
Big Break II runner-up Don Donatello has also parlayed his success on the show into a Nationwide Tour start. Donatello will receive one of two sponsor invitations to the Envirocare Utah Classic in September.
