College Central presented by PINGSUNRIVER, Ore. -- Led by co-champion Brian Harman's sizzling debut, the top-ranked Georgia men's golf team cruised to a 15-shot victory on Wednesday at the 17th annual Ping/Golfweek Fall Preview.

Playing at Sunriver Resort's Crosswater Course - the site of the 2006 NCAA Championships - the Bulldogs fired an 11-under 277 in the final round to wind up at 19-under 845. Georgia's nearest competitor was Georgia Tech at 4-under 860.

Harman, the heralded freshman from Savannah, paced the Bulldogs at 11-under 205, including a 3-under 69 in the final round. Harman shared medalist honors with Oklahoma State's Pablo Martin. The 11-under figure matches the seventh-best effort in school history.

'I couldn't be more excited about our start to this season,' said Georgia coach Chris Haack, who guided the 2004-05 Bulldogs to the NCAA title. 'All five of our guys played solid golf, and this effort shows how special this team can be when all the guys are on the same page. What can I say about Brian Harman's debut? He's a talented young man, and we knew he had this kind of potential when we recruited him.'

Junior Chris Kirk and freshman Michael Green also notched top-10 efforts for the Bulldogs. Kirk fired a 5-under 211, including a 2-under 70 on Wednesday, to tie for sixth. Green carded a 4-under 68 in the final round to finish eighth at 4-under 212. Senior Kevin Kisner wound up 20th at 2-over 218 after his final-round 2-under 70. Junior Brendon Todd closed with a 1-under 71 for a 4-over 220 and a tie for 25th.

The Bulldogs will return to action Oct. 10-11 at the Pate Invitational in Birmingham.
