Yes, there's the fabled green jacket and the ceremony of the previous year's champ placing it upon your shoulders immediately after victory. And there's the fact that you will forever be mentioned as a Masters champion. Those alone sound pretty good.
But the Champions Dinner, every year on the Tuesday night before the start of the tournament, is just a perfect example of what separates the Masters from all else. The defending champion is afforded the luxury of coming up with the menu for all of the past champions in attendance.
That's a different kind of pressure - or, for many, a chance to show off their taste in food, their heritage, or, possibly, their sense of humor.
