Nationwide Tour Building for Big Finish

Nationwide TourWith the season winding down, players are in need of a top finish this week as they try to jockey for position on the Nationwide Tour money list.

Including the Mark Christopher Charity Classic, only six tournaments remain for players to finish in the top-60 and compete at the season-ending Tour Championship. Last year, Scott Dunlap closed with a 5-under 66 in the final round to come from behind and win this event by three strokes.
The $450,000 event will be held at the Empire Lakes Golf Club, a par-71 course that plays to 7,107 yards.
Dunlap finished at 12-under-par 272. Third-round leader Scott Gutschewski and second-round leader Bubba Watson shared second place at nine-under-par 275.

Watson tied the 36-holerecord of 130 set by Tripp Isenhour in 2000. Next week, the Nationwide Tour heads to Idaho for the Boise Open.
