2011 Power Rankings: Week 11

RANKNAMECOMMENTS
Nick Watney1Nick Watney

It's not just that he's fresh off a win at last week's WGC-Cadillac; it's that he hasn't finished outside the top 10 in five starts this season.

Martin Kaymer

 Martin Kaymer

His pair of 74s last weekend seemed like an anomaly. He has another chance to prove why he's ranked No. 1 in the world in his Transitions debut.

Padraig Harrington
3
Padraig Harrington
Has been steady this season, but far from spectacular. Made this week's top 10 because one 'expert' believes he is going to win. If he does, it would be his first on Tour since the 2009 British.
Jim Furyk
4
 Jim Furyk
His 2011 form doesn't indicate that he will be a factor this week, but being the defending champion may stir the soul and wake him from his slumber.
Justin Rose
5
 Justin Rose
Five starts at Innisbrook, nary a missed cut. Won on two tough difficult courses last year (Muirfied Village and Aronimink). Innisbrook would qualify as a tough track.
Vijay Singh
6
 Vijay Singh
Seems revitalized this year, thanks to better putting numbers. Won here in 2004. Making his first start in the event, however, since 2007.
Paul Casey
7
 Paul Casey
Has only played this tournament once (2008, T-42), but he's too good of a player to keep off this week's list.go.
Retief Goosen
8
 Retief Goosen
Won this tournament in 2009 and tied for fifth last year. It's now a full two seasons since he last captured a Tour title.
Bubba Watson
9
 Bubba Watson
First event since  the Match Play, after missing last week due to the flu. Despite Innisbrook's tight fairways, Watson was third here last year.
Jonathan Byrd
10
 Jonathan Byrd
Looking to join Mark Wilson as a two-time winner in 2011. He  has made the cut on all eight previous occassions he's played this event, including racking up a trio of top-10s.
