Only player not to get a point at Solheim Cup and lost to unheralded Luna in singles. Played a tough match with Kerr in fourball but played terrible in foursomes with Stanford.

Paula Creamer (3-1-0)
Paula Creamer

Made all the shots when it mattered, stepped up as a team leader and bested Pettersen 3 and 2 in Sunday singles to put an stamp on an impressive record. Only loss was a bad one paired with Inkster in foursomes.

Natalie Gulbis (1-1-1)

Halve was in singles against Hjorth when the matches were already over. Two wins were impressive, including one with Wie and once with Creamer. Didnt muster many birdies in fourball loss.

The emotional spark-plug of the team meshed well with Wie and paired with Gulbis for that great win and a terrible loss. Avenged last Solheim Cup appearance where she didnt record a point.

The rookie was a pleasant surprise for the Americans, earnings 2 points in three matches. She didnt play well in singles match with Davies but mustered a halve when Davies butchered the final two holes.

Two big matches won and both losses came with good friend McPherson. Just quietly went about her business this week then closed out a solid week with impressive win over Gustafson in singles.

Kristy McPherson (1-3-0)
Kristy McPherson

Not a whole lot was expected from this rookie and what she failed to produce in points she more than made up for in team spirit and personality. Not a surprise that she lost in singles to the more experienced Matthew.

Morgan Pressel (2-0-1)
Morgan Pressel

Would have earned a higher grade if she had closed out the opening fourball match with Wie. But she got the last laugh Sunday as she was the official clinching point with a 3-and-2 victory over Nordqvist.

Angela Stanford (1-2-1)
Angela Stanford

Was blanked in both matches on Day 1 and rallied to record positive finishes in her last two matches. Trounced Brewerton in singles to win the first point of the day and swing the momentum for Americans.

Juli Inkster (1-2-1)
Juli Inkster

Last Solheim Cup will be remembered for way she battled out a halve in singles. Was 2 down after 12 and birdied three consecutive holes to take the lead. But she bogeyed the final hole and backed into the halve.

Michelle Wie (3-0-1)
Michelle Wie

May be the week that changed her life. Putter came to life and she played with more emotion than even she couldve imagined. Victory against Alfredsson in singles was impressive and put early point on board for U.S.

Beth Daniel (captain)
Beth Daniels

Was questioned early in the week when she said she was going to sit every player in at least one session. The goal was to make sure her team had fresh legs for Sunday singles. The philosophy paid off in spades with a crushing 8-4 win in singles, good for a third consecutive U.S. victory.
