Wisconsin Wraps Up Win at Diablo Grande

College CentralMADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin men's golf team never looked back at the Diablo Grande Ranch Course in Patterson, Calif. Monday and Tuesday, leading the nine-team competition the whole way. With a three round total of 890 (301-298-300) the Badger's nearest threat was a gaping 28 strokes behind, Boise State (304-302-312--918). This was the team's first ever first place finish in 2002-03.
 
Senior Joel Rechlicz earned individual medalist honors shooting a total 217 strokes. Sophomores Brian Brodell and Kevin Tassistro rounded out the top three spots among all individuals, shooting totals of 222 strokes. The remaining Badger scores are to be announced.
 
Next up for the Wisconsin men is the Pepsi-Cola Invitational in Pottsboro, Texas from March 29-30.
