Zhang Reportedly Pays Caddy Only $700

Caltex Masters winner Lian-Wei Zhang reportedly only paid his caddie $700 for his weeks work, Singapore's Strait Times reported.
Singapore native 38-year-old Osman Juami was said to have been expecting as much as $7,500 dollars for carrying Zhangs bag around Laguna National for seven days, but a friend of Osman told the newspaper he was stunned by his lowly return.
'He (Osman) was shocked when he received seven crisp American hundred dollar bills,' the friend said. 'He had carried Zhang's bag for seven days - four tournament rounds, two practice rounds and Wednesday's pro-am.'
Zhang pocketed $152,167 when he became the first Chinese player to win a European Tour event, birdieing the final hole for a one-shot victory moments after more fancied South African Ernie Els had bogeyed it.
But while Fijian Vijay Singh reportedly gave his caddie $24,000 when he won the title two years ago, and Indian Arjun Atwal gave $7,500 dollars ($A12,600) to his man 12 months ago, Osman was far less fortunate.
