Barlow to Miss Remainder of Season

Following a recent surgical procedure to repair a chronic hip problem, Craig Barlow will miss the remainder of the 2001 season on the PGA Tour.
Barlow, a 29-year-old who was 108th on the 01 money list, had the surgery done to repair a labral tear in his right hip at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center, and he will have surgery again later this year to repair a problem with his left shoulder.
According to PGA Tour rules, should Barlow not end in the top-125 on the money list for 2001, he will be given a chance at the start of next season to make enough money to be fully exempt for 2002.
