Begay Injures Back at Masters

Notah Begay III is said to be out of action for the next several weeks, according to reports from the Associated Press.
Begay, who has won four times in his first two seasons on the PGA Tour, injured his back at last weeks Masters Tournament. He missed the cut by one stroke, and was said to have been playing only at 50 percent of his abilities.
Begay has struggled all season, making just two cuts and earning $53,805 in the seven events in which he has competed.
His father, Notah Begay II, stated to the Associated Press that his son could be out for up to six weeks.
Hes got a lot of pride, said the elder Begay. He doesnt complain, probably never will. Sometimes I think he wants to carry the burden too much. He needs to let out, but I dont think he ever will. He always carries everything on his back.
Begay's caddie Fanny Sonnesson is looping for her former boss Nick Faldo this week at the WorldCom.
