With his heart-breaking lost at the British Open, followed by a sudden-death playoff loss to Michael Campbell at the Irish Open, Bjorn hopes some home cookin' will be just the thing to finally put him over the top.
The event in Copenhagen arrives just in time, as players from Denmark have begun to makes waves on the European Tour.
Along with Bjorn, who has seven European Tour titles, the Hanson brothers, Soren and Anders, have both claimed a victory within the last year and a half. Anders won at the Volvo PGA Championship and Soren at the Irish Open at Fota Island.
Steve Tinning added his name to the Danish list of winners with his victory at the Telefonica Open de Madrid last fall. Sren Kjeldsen then extending the Danish run with a win at this year's Diageo Championship at Gleneagles.
Joining the impressive list of Danes is none other than Colin Montgomerie, who's coming back from a wrist injury he suffered at the Open Championship. Monty is trying to keep a streak alive of winning at least one event a year, which he has done for 10 consecutive years.
