Brunos Plays Host to All 2001 Winners


John Jacobs matched the best round of his career with an 8-under-par 64, and then beat Gil Morgan on the first hole of sudden death to win last years Brunos Memorial Classic.

Jacobs eagled the final hole of regulation to earn his way into the playoff. On the first extra hole, Morgan hit his approach shot into the water, while Jacobs two-putted for par and his third career Senior PGA Tour title.
Jacobs is back to defend at the Greystone Golf Club in Birmingham, Ala. Hes joined by all nine different 2001 winners, including Bruce Fleisher, who won for the first time this season at last week's Las Vegas Senior Classic.
The $1.4 million event offers $210,000 to the champion.
