Buckeyes Lead Big Ten Championship

College CentralCOLUMBUS, Ohio - The third-ranked Ohio State women's golf team leads the field of 11 with a score of 600 following the first and second rounds of action Friday at the Big Ten Championships.
 
The Buckeyes posted an opening round score of 301 and followed with a mark of 299 in the second round. The event is being held at the par 72 Ohio State University Scarlet Course (6,201 yards). Despite almost an inch of rain Thursday evening, the first round began on time.
 
Indiana currently holds second place (605) and Wisconsin is third (611).
 
Ohio State senior Allison Hanna (Portland, Ore./David Douglas) is tied for first place individually after posting rounds of 72 and 73, respectively. Hanna is tied with Wisconsin's Malinda Johnson with a score of 145. Danah Ford of Indiana stands alone in third with a mark of 146.

Junior Kristen White (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) is tied for 12th place with a mark of 152 and junior Lindsay Knowlton (Toronto, Ont./Havergal College) is tied for 21st with a score of 156. Sophomore Allyson Harvie (Grass Valley, Calif./Bear River) is tied for 24th (157) and Jennifer Selfinger (So., Columbus, Ohio/Groveport Madison) is tied for 29th (158).
 
Third-round action will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday and the final round is scheduled for an 8 a.m. start Sunday.
