Last weeks winner, Gavin Coles, is looking for his second victory in a row. Coles outlasted American Bryce Molder at the Kooyonga Golf Club in his homeland of Australia for a first-place check worth $90,000 at the Jacobs Creek Open Championship last week.
Both men will be making the journey to New Zealand this week for another payday worth $90,000.
Along with the two will be Buy.Com standouts Ryuji Imada, Rob McKelvey, Sonny Skinner, Omar Uresti and Mark Hensby.
They will tee it up alongside some of the Australasians best. Peter OMalley, Stephen Leaney, Scott Laycock and ANZ Championship winner Richard Johnson will all be in attendance.
This week is a very important one for Australasian Tour players as well, in that it is the last event before the line is drawn for earning exemptions into the 2002 International season.
While Craig Parry is the leading money winner, Laycock can catch him only by winning or finishing second. Parry is in the United States this week competing in the Bay Hill Invitational in Orlando, Fla.
After this week, the Buy.Com Tour will move back to the U.S. with play picking up again in the second week of April at the Louisiana Open.
