Canadian Tour Plays Norman Course This Week

A total of 132 golfers from ten countries are in Myrtle Beach, S.C., for this week's Barefoot Classic.
It's the second event on the 2001 Canadian Tour schedule, and the second of four straight tournaments held in Myrtle Beach.
This week's event will be contested on the Barefoot Resort's 7035-yard par-72 Greg Norman course.
Last week, Ireland's Eamonn Brady captured the Myrtle Beach Open on the Tom Fazio course. As an alternate, Brady was a last-minute addition to the field. He shot rounds of 68-70-68-71 in the cold to earn the $24,000 (Cdn) first-place prize.
Once again Brady is in the field, and once again $24K is on line for the winner. The purse stands at $150,000.
Next week, the Canadian Tour will play the Barefoot Resort's Davis Love III course. They will then conclude their stateside swing on the Pete Dye course.
