During the Wednesday Pro-Am dinner of the Target World Challenge, two men removed several clubs from the Sherwood Country Clubs locker room, including tournament host Tiger Woods' wedges.
Fortunately, the stolen clubs were discovered and returned to their rightful owner, but no charges have been filed as yet. Hidden cameras helped authorities track down the wedges.
Apparently the suspects also followed Woods during the pro-am and even attended the same dinner.
The story gets better from there. The suspects, upon hearing voices in the locker room and getting nervous, quickly set the clubs down and began playing pool, only to be joined by PGA Champion Rich Beem.
Beem noticed the wedges and even picked one up, but failed to make a connection, despite their high-end Rifle shafts. He obviously also missed the TW stamped on them as well.
