Daly Withdraws From German Masters


John Daly withdrew from the Linde German Masters Wednesday because of a shoulder injury.
Daly told the European Tour he had been advised to rest the injury, which he sustained last week at the Bell Canadian Open. Daly, who tied for 22nd in Ontario, won the BMW International held in Munich, Germany, in 2001. He tied for 10th in this years BMW.
He has played in six overseas tournaments this season.
The two-time major winner withdrew after the opening round of this years WorldCom Classic due a wrist injury he sustained while playing a bunker shot.
