Dugan Aycock Passes at Age 92


PGA of AmericaFormer PGA of America standout Dugan Aycock passed away Friday at the Lexington Memorial Hospital at the age of 92.
During his career in golf, Aycock served several terms as National Vice President of the PGA of America and was a member of the Ryder Cup committee several times. He was named Golf Professional of the Year in 1957.
Aycock hailed from North Carolina, where he would eventually become an honored member of the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame, the Carolina Golf Hall of Fame and the Carolinas PGA Hall of Fame.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter.
