Love struggled a bit on a chilly North Georgia day; when the temperatures never got out of the 50s and the wind gusted as high as 20mph. Love followed a second-round 62 with a five-birdie, two-bogey 69.

You cant make mistakes, Love said. I hit a couple of bad drives and wound up with bogeys on holes that had been birdies. Thats the difference.

Said Love of Edwards score, Thats a heck of a round in the cold weather. It was tough out there.

In the tournament within a tournament, Jesper Parnevik shot 67 in the third round to move to 7-under. He trails Kenny Perry (No. 30 on the money list) by $676. He now leads him in the tournament by four shots.

Oh yeah, Im thinking about it, said Parnevik, who is 31st on the money list. I know pretty much if I make the top 15 (in the tournament), I should be all right.
