Englands Dyson Takes Home Three Davidoff Awards


England's Simon Dyson took home three awards Sunday night as the Davidoff Tour (Asian PGA) honored its top performers during the 2000 season.
Dyson picked up honors for Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and for winning the Order of Merit. The 23-year old led the tour with $282,371 in earnings. His three wins at the Macau Open, Volvo China Open and Omega Hong Kong Open solidified him as the top choice for Rookie and Player of the Year.
'The year for me has been great. I have seen places I would never have seen and won three titles.' Dyson said. 'I am five times as good a player as I was this time last year. My putting has improved a lot. I have putted great.'
