Fleisher at Home in Charlotte

The Senior PGA Tour makes its annual sojourn to Charlotte, NC for the $1.3 million Home Depot Invitational.

The tournament has been in existence as long as the tour itself, both forming in 1980. The TPC at Piper Glen has hosted the event since 95.
Last year, Bruce Fleisher successfully defended his title by birdieing the third playoff hole to beat Hubert Green. It was the third of four victories Fleisher earned in 2000.
This year, Fleisher has one win to his credit, the Las Vegas Senior Classic two weeks ago.
Fleisher, the 1999 Player of the Year, will have to battle 2000 Player of the Year Larry Nelson if he wants to three-peat and collect the first-place check of $195,000.
Also in attendance are tournament host Arnold Palmer, Lanny Wadkins, Gary McCord, Raymond Floyd and 1997 and 98 champion Jim Dent.
