Full Steam Ahead for BuyCom Tour

The Buy.Com Tour returns to action for the $425,000 Steamtown Classic at the par-70 Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic, Penn., May 31 - Jun 3.

The tour took a week off following Chad Campbells victory at the Richmond Open. Thanks to his maiden triumph, Campbell, a two-time money winner on the Hooters Tour, grabbed the earnings lead on the 2001 Buy.Com Tour by a scant $3,000 over Deane Pappas.
First prize in the Keystone State is $76,500.
Jeff Hart won the inaugural Steamtown Classic in 2000. The victory was Harts first in 209-combined Buy.Com and PGA Tour starts dating back to 1985.
Hart finished the season in the 15th-and-final spot on the money list, ensuring his 2001 PGA Tour card.
If last year is any indication, dont expect low scores to dominate the leaderboard. Harts winning total was 5-under-par 275. Only two other tournaments (Hershey Open and Monterey Peninsula Classic at 3-under) had higher winning scores.
