Gold in Tigers Future

RSS

The World Amateur Golf Council, recognized by the International Olympic Committee as the official federation of golf, has submitted a bid for sport to be a part of the 2008 Olympics.

If approved, the event would be open to all professionals, meaning Tiger Woods could add a gold medal to his ever-growing trophy case at the age of 32.

Woods, however, said last year that golf already has four majors and doesnt need the Olympics. On the other hand, Greg Norman and Seve Ballesteros support the bid.
