Grob has missed but one cut in 2000, still he stands in 77th position on the money list. That's because Grob didn't make his first start until June 25 due to hip-replacement surgery in January.
Grob suffered a broken pelvis during a 1985 car accident. Doctors told him he would have to have it replaced at some point. That time came after Grob finished 34th in earnings a year ago, despite playing in all 30 events.
This is Grob's 12th start of the season. His best finish came in a tie for 6th at the Tri-Cities Open last month.
Quinn won the season-opening Florida Classic, but hasn't sniffed the winner's circle since. Quinn, No. 39 on the money list, hasn't posted a top-10 in the 21 starts following his victory.
