Jordan Withdraws From Elways Golf Outing

For the second straight year, basketball great Michael Jordan will miss John Elways Charity Golf Tournament.
According to the Rocky Mountain News, Jordan was forced to withdraw after cracking two ribs during a basketball workout with NBA players in a gym in Chicago. He has been told by doctors to refrain from physical activity for 6 to 8 weeks.
Jordan and several other NBA players had to withdraw from Elways tournament last year to attend the funeral of Cory Erving, Julius Ervings son.
The tournament is scheduled for June 30th through July 1st in Broomfield, Colorado.
