Kung fired a final-round 69 to end the tournament at 16-under-par 272.
Five shots back at 11-under was Californias Elizabeth Bowman, who carded an even-par 72 to end in solo second.
Seven off the pace was the Futures Tour money winner for the 2001, Beth Bauer. Bauer closed with a 68 to end in a tie for fourth with Mayumi Nakajima (70).
The week belonged to Kung, however.
The 20-year-old product of the University of Southern California and 99 AJGA Player of the Year had competed in only three tournaments this year, with her best showing coming at the Barona Creek Womens Golf Classic in March.
While she finished third in that particular event, Kung took control of this weeks season finale on Saturday, when she shot a second-round 67 to move ahead by two.
She would never look back, and her Sunday 69 put a lock on the event in Lakeland, Fla.
For her efforts, Kung collected $10,500, the richest first-place purse of the year.
