PGA of America (150x150) Justin Leonard and Davis Love III will join Tiger Woods and Rich Beem in the PGA Grand Slam of Golf Nov. 26-27 at Poipu Bay Golf Course & Hyatt Regency Kauai in Hawaii.

The event is for major winners only. Woods won the Masters and U.S. Open, and Beem captured the PGA Championship.

Ernie Els, winner of the British Open, is unable to compete due to scheduling conflicts and personal reasons.

Els' absence combined with Tiger's multiple major victories opened up two slots in the medal-play foursome. Leonard finished first on the major champions points list; Love finished third.

Leonard's major championship season included a tie for 20th in the Masters, a tie for 12th in the U.S. Open, a tie for 14th in the British Open, and a tie for fourth in the 84th PGA Championship.

Love tied for 14th in the Masters and British Open, shared 24th in the U.S. Open and tied for 48th in the PGA Championship.

Both men competed in the 1997 PGA Grand Slam, the year they each won a major. Leonard, the '97 British champion, finished fourth in the Grand Slam. Love, the PGA Champion, finished third. Love also finished second in the 2000 Grand Slam, after earning his way via the points list.

Last year's U.S. Open champion, Retief Goosen, who finished second on the major champions points list, is unable to compete because of scheduling conflicts.

The major champions points list is composed of past major champions who competed in the 2002 majors. The PGA Grand Slam of Golf features a total purse of $1 million, with the champion earning $400,000. The 36-hole stroke-play event is broadcast by TNT.
