Love Out With Neck Problems

Davis Love III had a myelogram performed on his neck earlier in the week and may face the possibility of surgery in the upcoming future, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has reported.
Love has been suffering from neck pain and numbness in his left arm and fingers, and will decide which direction to go once test results come back.
For now, he has been given a strict order to rest his body.
After opening his 2001 season in stellar fashion with a win at the AT&T and several other top-10 finishes, Love has since been in absence from the PGA Tour, withdrawing three times after missing the cut at The Masters.
He plans to return to action for the U.S. Open in mid-June, but that is still speculative.
If surgery is required, were going to try and hold off until the Ryder Cup, Loves agent Jeff Knight commented to the Constitution. Then he would have the entire fall to recuperate.
