LPGA Tour Returns to Augusta

The LPGA has not had a tournament in Augusta. Ga., since the Titleholders was played there from 1937-66.
That will end this fall when a new 72-hole tournament, The Augusta International Championship, will be played Sept. 20-23, at the Mount Vintage Plantation Golf Club in North Augusta.
The event will feature a $1.2 million purse.
