Molder to Turn Professional


A four-time All American at Georgia Tech, Bryce Molder has decided to skip this years U.S. Amateur Championship and instead turn professional at the PGA Tours Reno-Tahoe Open.
The 22-year-old will play under a sponsors exemption, and will forgo the amateur event at East Lake Country Club in Atlanta, where he shot 64 earlier in the year to qualify for the U.S. Open.
Currently, he has also received sponsors exemptions into several other PGA Tour stops, including the Air Canada Championship, the Bell Canadian Open and the Texas Open.
In this years U.S. Open Championship at Southern Hills, Molder was the lone amateur to make the cut.
