Morgan Repeats at Instinet Classic

Gil Morgan successfully defended his title in The Instinet Classic, and, in the process, recorded career win No. 20 on the Senior PGA Tour.
Morgan led the event wire-to-wire. He double-eagled the par-5 7th in the first round en route to a course-record 63. He then closed with back-to-back 69s at the TPC at Jasna Polana in Princeton, N.J.
Morgan finished the tournament at 15-under-par 201, two shots removed from J.C. Snead (65) and Tom Jenkins (67).
Morgan led the event comfortably before a bogey at the 15th and a late charge by Snead pulled the two into a first-place tie.
However, Morgan took control with a birdie at the 16th, and then followed that with a closing birdie on the final hole.
