In addition to raising the purse to $2 million, the Senior PGA Tour has changed the event formerly known as the Boone Valley Classic to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Match Play Championship.
The field of 78 will play 18 holes on Thursday and Friday. The top 16 players will qualify for the match play portion of the event on Saturday and Sunday.
The match-play seeding will be determined by the order of finish in the stroke-play portion of the event.
All participants will be payed. The winner will earn $300,000.
Eight players aged 60 and over will participate in a Georgia-Pacific Super Seniors match play event, as well.
