Normans Event Canceled

The Greg Norman International, scheduled for The Lakes in Sydney, Australia in February, has been canceled due to problems with TV rights and sponsorship.
The $1.1 million event was to be played Feb. 7-10.
Australasian PGA Tour chairman Wayne Grady, the 1990 PGA Championship winner, said the cancellation was due to a lack of commercial support.
The Australasian PGA Tour is expected to announce its 2001-02 schedule next week.
