OSullivan Named Captain

Ada O'Sullivan has been named as the captain of the Great Britain teams that will compete for the 2003 Vagliano Trophy and for the 2004 Curtis Cup.
O'Sullivan just finished up captaining for this year's Espirito Santo Trophy at the Saujana Golf and Country Club, Malaysia, in October.
The Irish Stroke Play Champion in 1987 and the European Masters Stroke Play Champion in 1994, O'Sullivan played for her country, Ireland, from 1982 to 1997 in amateur events before a back injury forced her to retire.
The 2003 Vagliano Trophy against the Continent of Europe will be played July 25-26 at County Louth, and the 2004 Curtis Cup will be played June 12-13 of that year at Formby Golf Club.
'I am delighted to have been appointed captain of both teams after my 'initiation' in Malaysia,' she said. 'My appointment is part of a long-term LGU strategy which hopefully will result in our squad of talented youngsters producing their best performances in international competition around the world.'
