Paddison Gets Three-Shot Win in Dunedin

Young Wellington star Gareth Paddison blitzed the field with a closing 64 to win the Scenic Circle Hotels Dunedin Classic by three strokes at 17-under-par 267.
Paddisons maiden victory on the Australasian Tour follows some strong early season results from the talented left-hander.
Paddison just missed the cut at the recent New Zealand Open at his home course of Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club, but got revenge this week at the Chisolm Links course in Dunedin.
Finishing second behind Paddison was Queenslands Brad Andrews, who held the tournament lead for the first two rounds.
Andrews fired an opening round of 64, but ended in outright second position at 14-under par. In third at 10-under was fellow Queenslander Tony Carolan.
One more Queenslander, Andrew Bonhomme, and Kim Felton shared fifth-place at 9-under-par 275.
