Pepper Says Women Win Three-Tour Challenge


Dottie Pepper let the cat out of the bag by saying the women won the Wendy's Three-Tour Challenge, scheduled to be televised Dec. 15-16.
The event was held in Las Vegas, Nev. Pepper, Annika Sorenstam and Karrie Webb gave the women their first victory in the event since 1992. The LPGA team defeated a Senior PGA Tour team of Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Fuzzy Zoeller, and the PGA Tour team of John Daly, Fred Couples and Mark Calcavecchia.
Pepper didn't make the winning putt, but said, 'I made a very crucial par putt at 18.'
