Professional Golfers Go For a Wild Ride

Several PGA Tour players got the thrill of a lifetime Wednesday, as they ventured away from Ft. Worths MasterCard Colonial tournament to the Texas Motor Speedway.
It was there that Spike McRoy, Mike Sposa and Brett Quigley each climbed into NASCAR Winston Cup stock cars, and went zooming around the track several times under professional supervision.
I usually get nervous on the first tee or the 18th green, exclaimed McRoy following the fun, but this was the ultimate. Ive gone 110 mph in my Maxima before but Ive never gone 160 mph.
That was the thrill of my life, said Sposa. It was just unbelievable! The first lap going into turn one with the other cars so close, that was really thrilling. Running through the corners just a foot away from the cars was awesome!
