Heath Slocum recorded a pair of eagles on the back nine en route to winning his first career Buy.Com Tour event at the Greater Cleveland Open.

Slocum fired a 4-under-par 68 on the Devlin Course at the Quail Hollow Resort to better third-round leader Ryuji Imada by one shot at 21-under-par 267.

Imada led by three shots entering the final round in Concord, Ohio, but Slocum drew even by the 5th hole. However, Slocums chances seemed doomed on the par-5 7th, where Imada carded an eagle and Slocum notched a double-bogey 7.

Imada carried a four-shot lead into the back nine. At the par-5 10th, Imada made birdie, but was one-upped by Slocum, who made eagle.

The three-shot deficit was cut to two with another Slocum birdie on the 13th. The two men then deadlocked at 19-under when Slocum birdied the 14th and Imada bogeyed the hole.

The clincher proved to be the par-5 15th. Once again Imada made birdie only to watch Slocum make eagle.

Both men parred the final three holes to give the 27-year-old Slocum the $76,500 first-place check.
