The US $1 million event, which will be promoted by Parallel Media Group, will be jointly sanctioned by The European Tour and the Asian Tour in collaboration with the China Golf Association.
As announced earlier, the Madeira Island Open on The European Tour International Schedule has moved back three weeks to April 7-10 at Santo da Serra Golf Club.
China has already hosted the Volvo China Open and the Omega Hong Kong Open on The 2005 European Tour International Schedule, won by Stephen Dodd of Wales and Miguel Angel Jimnez of Spain respectively, while the BMW Asian Open and the Johnnie Walker Classic will also be played in China during April and May.
Scotland's Colin Montgomerie won the inaugural edition of the TCL Classic in 2002 when the event, staged solely by the Asian Tour, was held at Harbour Plaza Golf Club, Shenzhen, southern China.
