Teske Looks for Two in a Row in Tucson

Rachel Teske cruises into Tucson, Ariz., this week full of confidence for the $800,000 Welchs/Circle K Championship.
Teske knocked off arguably the best golfer on the planet last week at the PING Banner Health. The 29-year-old Australian bested top-seeded Annika Sorenstam on the second playoff hole for her fourth career LPGA Tour victory.
Shell get another chance this week in Tucson.
As was the case last week, Sorenstam is again serving as the events defending champion, and the Swede will be on hand to defend. She is searching for her second win of the year.
A strong group of contenders await her, however. In addition to Teske, another Aussie in Karrie Webb is scheduled to compete. Also in the field are Laura Davies, Se Ri Pak, Grace Park, Mi Hyun Kim, Laura Diaz, Nancy Lopez and Juli Inkster.
They are all shooting for a first-place check worth $120,000.
The Welchs/Circle K Championship is in its 22nd year. It has been contested at the Randolph North Golf Club every edition. While Lopez was crowned the inaugural champion, only Donna Andrews has won the event on two different occasions ' she titled in 1994 and 1997.
