Texas Course to Host The 02 Southern PGA CPC

High Meadow Ranch Golf Club of Magnolia, Texas, has been named the site of The 2002 Southern PGA Club Professional Championship. The event will be held Oct. 10-13, 2002.
Located approximately 40 miles north of Houston, High Meadow Ranch was designed by PGA Tour player David Ogrin and Chicago course architect Tim Nugent. The course has already hosted a qualifying tournament for the 2001 U.S. Amateur and this year's Southern Texas PGA Eastern Chapter Championship.
'This is a tremendous experience for us to be hosting a championship of this caliber,' said High Meadow Director of Golf David Findlay. 'It is a course that has had many great reviews and players return often telling us that they really enjoy playing here.
The 2002 Regional PGA Club Professional Championships, conducted throughout the fall, help determine the field for The 36th PGA Club Professional Championship in June 2003 at a site to be determined.
