Thorpe shot a final-round 6-under-par 66 to better Ed Dougherty, who also shot 66, by two strokes. Last week, Thorpe earned his first career Senior Tour victory at The Transamerica.
'It's harder to win out here than on the PGA Tour,' said Thorpe, who captured three PGA Tour titles. 'I wish this was early March. I'm really driving it well. That's a big plus to hit it 300 yards and straight.'
Thorpe joins Larry Nelson as the only men to win back-to-back tournaments on the 2000 Senior Tour.
Thorpe finished the week at 21-under-par and earned a first-place check of $165,000. He moves to 6th on the money list. Nelson continues to lead the Tour in season earnings. Nelson tied for 8th this week to increase his lead over Bruce Fleisher to over $205,000.
