Three Events Left on Senior Schedule

The Senior Tour returns to the mainland for the Napa Valley Championship, contested at the Silverado Country Club in Napa, Calif.
This is the 14th playing of the event, formerly known as The Transamerica.
Sammy Rachels made a 30-foot eagle putt on the 72nd hole a year ago to defeat Raymond Floyd and Doug Tewell by a shot. However, no one has ever successfully defended their title. Lee Trevino (1990, 95) is the only player to have won twice.
There are only three tournaments remaining on the 2002 Senior PGA Tour calendar. This is also one of two final chances to qualify for the Senior Tour Championship.
The top 31 on the money list after next weeks SBC Championship will gain entry into the season finale. Nos. 28-34 are in attendance. Australian Rodger Davis is currently the man on the bubble, in the 31st position.
This weeks purse is $1.3 million, with $195,000 going to the winner.
