Tiger Withdraws from Advil Western Open

Tiger Woods has withdrawn from this week's Advil Western Open at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club near Chicago. Tiger notified tounament officials of his withdrawal Tuesday, citing illness as the reason.
The tournament was scheduled to be his last event before the British Open, where he will be going for the third leg of the single-season grand slam. Woods won the Masters Tournament in April and the U.S. Open in June.
Instead of travelling to Chicago, Tiger will remain in Orlando before going overseas to Scotland for the 130th British Open.
