Nike has announced that it will market a new golf ball, the Tour Accuracy TW, the same model used by Tiger Woods. Nike was sued last year for misleading the public to think Woods was using its Tour Accuracy ball in Tournament play. Tiger's version actually had a harder inner and outer core than the publicly available version.
Nike will market a four-ball sleeve with two of the new TW's and two of the original Tour Accuracy balls. The idea is to let the consumer decide which they prefer.
No word yet on the new ball's cost. The TW will be made available to the public later this year.
