The Nationwide Tour heads west this week for the playing of the Omaha Classic at the The Champions Club in Omaha, Neb.
With 13 weeks reamaining on the schedule players are beginning to keep an ever more watchful eye on the tour's money list. The top 20 players at the end of the season gain membership ontp the PGA Tour for the 2004 season.
Joe Ogilvie continues to lead on the money list although Zach Johnson is quickly closing the gap, as only $7,486 seperates the two.
In the more closely watch 20th position, Bo Van Pelt has the slimmest of leads over Lucas Glover. Glover trails Van Pelt by a mere $2,319.
Two guys who would rather not have to wait until the end of the season to see which tour they'll be playing on next year is the above mentioned Ogilvie and 49-year-old Guy Boros.
Both already have chalked up two victories apiece on the season and a third would give them the PGA Tour's 'Battlefield Promotion,' which grant's any player with three wins immediate access onto the big tour.
