The hole-in-one came at the 138-yard 7th hole known locally as 'High Five' due to its 90 foot drop off the tee. Trevino holed a pitching wedge to win $500,000 for himself and $500,000 for the St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis.
Trevino ended Monday's front nine with $110,000 in earnings along with the $1 million for the ace. Mickelson picked up $70,000, Azinger $30,000 and Floyd $20,000.
Tuesday's back nine will begin with a $40,000 carry over.
